Once you make a proper build, shotguns become not only effective, but fun too. You’ll want Hand Loader to be able to utilize these different ammo types most effectively. You’ll find more shots throughout the game that have their own purpose and use. Slugs have less spread and focus all damage into one pellet, making it good for range or breaking through DT. Standard shots have the most pellets and do more overall damage, perfect for enemies with minimal DT or knocking down opponents.

Spread penalty of Fast Shot won’t matter much if you aren’t shooting from long ranges (which you can actually do with shotguns in this game!).
